My father was born in London, England on the 3rd of April 1840. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was married to Miriam Chase on the 20th of December 1869 at Salt Lake City. His wife died on the 3rd of July 1878. He has three daughters and one son, but one of his daughters died when she was an infant. He was married again to Lydia Johnson on the 28th of November, 1901. They had one son, but he died when he was seven months old in Rigby, Idaho. He worked as the carpenter for many years. They lived at the First Ward, Salt Lake City. They moved to Rigby, Idaho to live for a few years, but they moved to Salt Lake City from Rigby again and they are living there at present. He is taking a rest and is getting old. My mother was born in North America on the 3rd of March 1849.

I was born in the First Ward, Salt Lake City, Utah on the 23rd of November 1872. I used to live in the First Ward, Salt Lake City for many years. I worked on the farm there for a few years. I started to school for the Deaf in Salt Lake City when I was about 18 years old, and attended there and Ogden for a few years. I work as the carpenter since now. I was married to Amy Devine on the 17th of June, 1903 in the Salt Lake Temple, at Salt Lake City, Utah. My wife and I moved to Rigby, Idaho from Salt Lake City after one month, when we got married. We lived there for 8 months where I worked as the carpenter. But we moved to Bountiful, Utah since 12 years. I was baptized by John Cottom on the 1st of May 1883. I attended the Sunday School for the Deaf in Salt Lake City and Ogden for a number of years. I worked in the Salt Lake Temple and my grandmother Miriam Gove Chase gave me some names of her dead relatives and I was baptized for them in the temple.

I have three daughters and one son, which I feel thankful for the blessing.

Baptized May 1, 1883 at Salt Lake City by John Cottom into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Confirmed May 3, 1883 by Joseph Booth.
